Dr. Jocelyn Tierney
DC, APRN, FNP-C
Dr. Jocelyn Tierney is Lincoln's only dually licensed chiropractor and family nurse practitioner, with a practice focus on comprehensive healthcare and functional wellness.
Once a patient herself, it was her chiropractor who led her on a journey of root cause, natural healing. This inspired her to take her health into her own hands, learning about whole food nutrition, emotional well-being, nervous system support and more. Dr. Jocelyn changed her major from pre-med and decided to become a chiropractor.
Dr. Jocelyn attended Cleveland University-Kansas City completing a B.S. in Human Biology, and her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2019.
Desiring to provide holistic medical services in addition to her chiropractic practice, Dr. Jocelyn went on to complete an Accelerated B.S. in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2020, gaining her Registered Nurse licensure in 2021. Then, in 2025, Dr. Jocelyn completed a M.S. in Nursing, with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus, from Clarkson College. She gained her Family Nurse Practitioner license in 2026, and is excited to bring this skill set to her patients.
A practicing chiropractor and functional medicine provider of over five years, Dr. Jocelyn is involved in her profession, serving as the American Chiropractic Association Alternate Delegate for Nebraska and serving on the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association's Legislative Committee. Beginning as a student in chiropractic school, Dr. Jocelyn travels to Washington, D.C. each year to lobby on Capitol Hill for chiropractors and chiropractic patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jocelyn enjoys being outside, hiking, traveling, music, and is always learning. Her greatest joy in life is spending time with her loved ones including her husband, dog, and family.
Dr. Jocelyn founded Impact Modern Health in 2026, with the intention of providing root cause, individualized care to assist patients in reaching their health goals and living the most abundant lives possible.
